Michael R. Henderson, M.D.

Dr. Henderson took over from his father as a volunteer sidelines physician for Spartanburg High School. He is one of the mentors for Wofford College students who are deciding on the career course. Wofford College students shadow various physicians in the office and at the hospital to help them determine what field they want to pursue.

Dr. Mike, as everyone knows him, has been a volunteer physician with the Easter Seals Orthopaedic Clinic held at the Charles Lea Center for numerous years and he is loved by the patients that he cares for and by the other volunteers in the clinic. He also donates his time as a volunteer physician for the Crippled Children's Rehabilitative Services at the Charles Lea Center.
